About us

The research-and-production complex Gidrofob (NPK Gidrofob) was founded in 2002. The necessity of resource saving technology development influenced on establishing of the research-and-production complex. Since a lot of action cable lines dont comply with the norms and the specified requirements, they have to be repaired. In accordance with the letter of instruction 9654 March 15, 2002 by Svyazinvest, OJSC on adoption of DSL technology on subscriber spans of the local telephone network, Chemistry Institute of Saratov State University and the NPK Gidrofob, LLC (NPK Gidrofob) developed new hydrophobic liquid filler for cables with polyethylene insulation to raise service reliability of cable lines of the Leningrad Branch Scientific Research Institute of Communication (LONIIS); the product was called Hydrophobic low-temperature cable filler GFZ-K-NT. At the same time the research-and-productive complex formed its productive capacities and developed its complex of equipment to adopt resource saving technology.

To date the NPK Gidrofob develops and produces new hydrophobic cable and clutch fillers. Together with the low-temperature filler the NPK Gidrofob introduced its own invention a new generation machine UVK-MM-2 and a universal mobile complex completely equipped for repairing wet cable lines. The plant also produces cable communication devices, phone distribution boxes and screen buses.

The NPK Gidrofob Remsvyazmontazh was founded by the NPK Gidrofob and the Leningrad Branch Scientific Research Institute of Communication to implement resource saving equipment projects. Nowadays the complex successfully fulfills its potential in industrial projects and scientific researches. Deficiency of mobile, simple, safe enough and, whats the most important, affordable ways and methods of trenchless laying cable routing at the Russian market has stimulated the developments in the sphere of trenchless laying cable communications. Our offer has been developed in concordance with the wishes and an operational experience of communication statements and building organizations working in the sphere of laying gas pipelines and water supply systems. During the researches an accurate work was carried out and all the subtle details and nuances were taken into account to work out an optimal decision meeting all requests. As a result a new Horizontal Drilling Machine UGB-2 was created.

Horizontal Directional Drilling Machine UGNB-3M has gone into series production since 2006. It allows to control horizontal directional drilling with further enlargement of a hole at a distance up to 150m.

Horizontal Directional Drilling Machine UGNB4 was developed and went into series production in 2008. It allows to control automatically horizontal directional drilling with further enlargement of a hole at a distance up to 300m. The new drilling machine is quite different from the preceding UGNB-3M, as it is a track-type machine and it doesnt need a ditch to start working.

The research-and-productive complex actively participates in scientific and technical conferences and annual international exhibitions. In 2008 The NPK Gidrofob was a participant of the Scientific research conference Kabeli and linii svyazi 2008, held in Pushkinskie gory, the International Exhibition Svyaz-Expokomm - 2008 and the International Exhibition Stroitelnaya tehnika and tehnologii 2008, where new resource saving technologies and new products of the plant were demonstrated.

Our partners are big communication statements such as OAO Southern Telecommunications Company (JSC), OAO Bashinformsvyaz (JSC), OAO Tattelecom (JSC), OAO Centrtelecom (JSC), OAO VolgaTelecom (JSC) and the biggest communication statements of near and far abroad: Kazakhstan, Latvia, the Ukraine, Byelorussia and Uzbekistan.
